Description
The Croatian electric car manufacturer Rimac Concept One is expanding its R&D and production capacity on the outskirts of Croatia's capital, Zagreb, thereby creating about 100 new jobs. The expansion follows a €30 million investment by Camel Group, Asia's largest battery manufacturer. Positions will open across all Rimac's departments: Research & Development, Design, Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing & Production, Autonomous Driving/Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), Operations, and Greyp Bikes. Consequently, these positions require a variety of skills and educational backgrounds, ranging from engineering to production to assembly.
The firm prides itself on its diversified production. Rimac develops and manufactures motors, batteries, infotainment systems, suspension systems, and many other technologies. The company has a relatively young team working together with experts from the automotive industry who have experience in companies such as Ferrari, BMW, Honda, Tesla, Toyota, etc.
As of September 2017, Rimac Concept One employs 250 people from more than 15 nationalities.
