Description
Slovak subsidiary of supermarket chain Tesco, Tesco Stores SR, is creating 1,200 new jobs a new logistics centre in the Prologis Park in Gan, near Galanta. The group opened its largest logistics centre in Central Europe in Slovakia on 21 August 2017. The centre will focus on the distribution of cosmetics, clothing, food and electronics to Tesco units across Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland. However, clothing will be distributed worldwide, for instance to the USA and Germany. The centre covers an area of 146,500 square metres.
