Description
Lithuanian retailer Maxima LT is to create 300 new jobs in Vilnius and Kaunas by December 2017. Maxima LT will open one store in Vilnius and one in Kaunas in the area where Finnish grocery Prisma was previously operating. As it was announced earlier, Prisma LT closed all 4 stores in Lithuania in June, 2017 (see previous case Prisma LT 2017 LT). According to the management, 200 new jobs will be created in Vilnius and 100 new jobs in Kaunas. Currently Maxima LT owns 237 retail chains in Lithuania which employ 15,790 people.
Maxima retail chain operates in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Bulgaria.
