Description

Polish company Polska Siarka announced it will create 100 new jobs at its new sulphur mine in Basznia near Lubaczów by spring 2018. The company plans to invest about PLN 70 million (EUR 16.49mn USD 19.42mn) in the project by spring 2018. The sulphur mine will be launched in late 2017, and full productivity of the unit is expected to be reached in spring 2018. The company is the second one globally which will use the 'underground smelting' method. The source reports the deposits in Basznia are estimated at 100 million tones and it will be used in the production of cosmetics and medicines.
