Description
Hereford packaging company Gelpack has entered administration and announced 175 redundancies. The business, which manufactures plastic packaging products for a variety of customers, had been under recent pressure and required further funding to be able to continue. Administrators KPMG have confirmed that a buyer is still being sought for the business, but they have taken the decision to announce 175 redundancies. The firm will continue trading in the interim period, with a skeleton staff being kept on to fulfil existing orders.
