Food producer 2 Sisters Food Group has announced plans to create 150 new jobs in Perthshire. The company has expanded its cutting operations at its chicken processing plant in Coupar Angus. When the new jobs are added, it will bring the headcount at the site to 720 employees. The news of the jobs has been seen as a major boost for the town and has been welcomed by the Member of the Scottish Parliament for the area, John Swinney. It has not been reported when all the jobs will be filled.
