Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Accenture, an international management consultation, IT and outsourcing company, announced it will create 200 new jobs at the Accenture Łódź Delivery Center in Łódź by the end of 2017. The company is looking for programmers and testers, both experienced specialists and graduates.
In July 2017, the company announced it will create 500 additional positions at the office in Katowice. The source also reports the company plans to hire in total about 2,200 people at its units across the country by the end of 2018.
Accenture services clients in 120 countries and employs about 411,000 people worldwide. Accenture has been operating in Poland since 2005; the company has offices in three Polish locations (Warszawa, Kraków and Łódź) employing over 4,400 people across the nation. Accenture Łódź Delivery Center in Łódź was founded in 2005 as a part of Global Delivery network. As of July 2017, it employs 400 IT specialists.
