Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Ericsson, a Swedish networking and telecommunications equipment and services company, has announced that it will create over 300 jobs at its two new R&D centres in Łódź and Kraków. The company aims to recruit programmers, testers, system architects, managers, product owners and project managers. Poland's units are expected to become leading 5G-technology development centres.
Ericsson was founded in 1876. As of July 2017, the company employs around 115,000 people and operates in about 180 countries. Ericsson has more than 3,000 members of staff working in 8 offices in Poland. The company provides services, software and infrastructure in information and communications technology (ICT).
