Description

Quality Poultry Baromfifeldolgozó és Kereskedelmi Kft., owned by Egységes Magyarországi Izraelita Hitközség (Unified Hungarian Jewish Congregation), opened a kosher goose slaughterhouse and processing facility in Csengele, southern Hungary. 

The HUF 2,8 billion (EUR 9,15 million) - supported by a HUF 1,75 billlion (EUR 5,7 million) loan from the state-owned Eximbank - greenfield investment creates 260 jobs and will process 2400 locally raised geese daily at full capacity. 

The fresh and frozen kosher geese products and fatty geese livers will be exported to the EU countries and Israel.
