Description

Espersen, a Danish fish processing and preservation company, announced it will create at least 100 new jobs in Koszalin. Espersen will purchase a Royal Greenland plant in Koszalin that neighbours its own, by September 2017. The company will invest between PLN 50 million (€ 11.88mn / $ 13.30mn) and PLN 60 million to optimise space usage and to modernise the plant by 2018, which is expected to double the plant's capacity.

As of July 2017, Espersen employs over 1,300 people at its plant in Koszalin. Additionally, the Royal Greenland plant that Espersen will acquire currently employs over 1,000 people.
