Logistics company Gist Limited has announced plans to create up to 200 new jobs when it opens a new warehouse facility in the Markham Vale Business Park near Chesterfield. The new warehouse is expected to be completed by September 2017 and will house a chilled storage facility. The development is being supported by Derbyshire County Council as it seeks to bring more jobs to the area. The Markham Vale Business Park supports a range of other businesses including logistics companies, who wish to take advantage of the site's close proximity to the M1 motorway.
