Call centre company Call Connection, based in Ipswich, has announced that it has entered administration and will cease trading with immediate effect. The business, which was founded in 2003, specialised in the financial services and insurance sectors. The administrators BDO confirmed that efforts to find a buyer for the struggling business had not been successful, and as a result it had been necessary to make 134 staff redundant. It is being reported that a small number of employees will be kept on to assist with winding down the business.
