High street bank TSB has announced plans to create 120 new back office roles at its site in Sheldon, Birmingham. Once filled, the site will employ more than 600 workers. The new jobs consist of customer service roles which will involve helping customers with money transfers and making payments to and from accounts. The decision to recruit comes as the bank plans to move to a new banking platform which is designed to increase the competition in the sector. There is no information available on when the jobs are expected to be filled, though recruitment for the new positions is underway.
