Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French multinational information technology and business consultancy company Capgemini has announced that it will create 300 new jobs at its third unit in Wrocław by the end of 2017. The company is looking for programmers and testers with knowledge of foreign languages, especially English and German. Capgemini will hire both experienced specialists and graduates.
Capgemini operates in 40 countries and employs 190,000 people worldwide. Capgemini has been operating in Poland since 1996 and employs 7,000 people in six offices across the country (Wrocław, Kraków, Katowice, Warszawa, Poznań and Opole). The Polish branches provide services in nearly 30 languages. Currently, the company employs about 1,000 people at its three offices in Wrocław.
In June 2017, Capgemini announced a business expansion programme which includes 700 jobs in Kraków, Katowice and Opole.
