Description

Wrexham based bakers The Village Bakery have announced that they are to create 50 new jobs. The group which operates from three sites on the Wrexham Industrial Estate and one site in Minera, a small village just outside the town, currently employs 450 employees, so once the new jobs are added, the headcount will reach 500. Twelve positions will be for apprentices who will be trained at the firm's Baking Academy and Innovation Centre. The company has been able to create these new positions in response to higher customer demand. The timeframe for filling the jobs has not been reported, though recruitment is already underway.
