Description
Officine Grafiche Novara 1901, a company specialised in printing activities located in Novara, is to close and lay off its 143 workers.
The company was the historical printer of the De Agostini editorial products. In 2012, it was sold to Tim Management, a society providing company interim and transition management services, when De Agostini decided to outsource printing services.
In 2015, following the failure of negotiations to sell the property to a new investor, the activities have been suspended, and social shock absorbers have been activated for all the workers.
Unions are currently taking part in negotiations with the management and public authorities, striving to obtain further social shock absorbers, early retirements and outplacement services.
