On 29th May 2017, German producer of LVL wood-based panels for use in construction and paining Steico has announced the creation of 200 new jobs at its production facility in Czarna Woda (Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, Poland). The restructuring programme is associated with the opening of the second production hall in the factory. Since 2015, the company has invested about EUR 100 million in the unit in Czarna Woda.
Steico has been operating in Poland since 1998; the company has production facilities in two locations (Czarnków and Czarna Woda) employing over 1,000 people.
