Online retailer The Hut Group has announced plans to create 1,000 new jobs. The move follows the company's acquisition of the internet service provider UK2, which will allow the business to change its platform through which it sells its beauty products. The jobs will be based in the North of England near the Hut Group's Cheshire headquarters, and it is expected that the positions will be filled over a three year period. The roles which are being created are being described as 'technology roles' and will include infrastructure and app development.
