Description
Landscaping firm Land Engineering has entered administration which will result in the loss of 135 jobs. The business operates out of various sites across Scotland. Administrators EY were appointed when the company hit financial difficulties, with its construction division being affected particularly severely. The administrators were able to sell off parts of the business to rival landscaping firm Idverde, which has saved 249 jobs. Reports do not specify when the changes will take effect, though it is understood that the redundancy process for the affected employees is well underway.
