Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German automotive parts manufacturer ThyssenKrupp is opening a new factory in the Northern Great Plain city Debrecen with a HUF 11 billion (EUR 35,6 million) greenfield investment. The new 18,000 square metre plant is planned to produce 6 million springs and stabilisers annually. The Debrecen facility will employ 250 people by 2020. ThyssenKrupp has already started hiring. The company is looking for highly trained workers and will provide further training to the employees in Hungary and also in Germany. ThyssenKrupp already employs around 1000 people in Hungary at its Budapest, Győr and Jászfényszaru facilities.
