European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French multinational group Armatis has announced that it will open a new contact centre in Guimarães, thereby creating 400 new jobs. The contact centre is set to open by early July 2017. Armatis specialises in customer service, CRM solutions and support marketing techniques. The recruitment process is reported to already be underway.
Armatis has 22 centres spread across France, Portugal, Tunisia and Poland employing around 10,000 people in total. The group, which has been operating in Portugal since 2012, currently has two companies in Portugal and five production centres in the cities of Lisbon, Caldas da Rainha and Porto.
