European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 11 May, the liquid gas retailer Primagaz has announed to its employees' representatives a reorganisation that will lead to the closure of five sites in France and to 82 job reductions on a total workforce of 730 employees. On this total, 50 positions will be cut in Reims (Marne) and 20 in Mérignac (Gironde). The management has started to negotiate with trade unions to mitigate the social impact.
