Description
Betting and gaming company Sky Bet has announced plans to create 100 new jobs at its headquarters in Leeds. The company, which spun out of Sky, has grown rapidly since it became independent and now employs a total of 1,200 staff; the vast majority being based in Yorkshire. A previous round of recruitment in 2015 created 200 jobs and in the two years since the company became independent, the workforce has doubled. The company has not given an explicit time frame for the latest expansion plans, but has commented that it expects the new positions to be filled by the summer of 2017.
