European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Idem Papers, a Belgian producer of specialty paper products has announced its closure. The closure has been announced earlier with ongoing talks about potential buyers. Negotiations have failed however and the company is now forced to close. In total 380 employees are now facing dismissal, both blue and white collar workers. Upon receiving the news a majority of the workers decided to go on strike.
