Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Austrian logistics solutions company TGW Logistics Group is establishing an Engineering Service Centre in Kaunas and will create 100 new jobs over the next two years. The centre will be responsible for supporting the company’s projects in Northern Europe. According to the management, the company will employ up to 100 experienced information technology and system automation engineers. TGW Logistics Group develops and implements individual automated logistics warehouse solutions for such companies likes Amazon, Mango, Zara, Adidas and others. The company employs more than 2,800 workers worldwide.
