European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Uni Concept, a Chinese company specialised in the design of accessories and parts for smartphones, has announced that it will set up a production site in Gaillac by August. By reducing transport costs, number of intermediaries and increasing flexibility, the company expects its products to be cheaper than Chinese products. The activity will be developed in several phases. The first, for the company's installation, will generate 30 to 40 jobs by August, but the management plans to eventually reach around 100 jobs.
