Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Luxembourg producer of paints for packaging Flint Group has announced that it will create 100 new jobs at its shared service centre in Łódź by the end of 2017. The company is looking for financial specialists, customer service staff, HR specialists as well as engineers with the knowledge of foreign languages, especially English, German, the Romance and Scandinavian languages. The centre provides IT, HR and logistics services to the region of Western and Central Europe as well as Scandinavian countries.
Flint Group, headquartered in Luxembourg, has 140 units worldwide. The company is one of the largest suppliers to the printing and packaging industry worldwide. In Poland, Flint Group has been operating for 15 years; it has the colour laboratory in Konstantynów Łódzki and the shared service centre in Łódź. The company employ 270 people in Poland, including 130 in the unit in Łódź.
