Description
DIY retailer Screwfix will be opening a new distribution centre in Lichfield creating 700 new jobs. Screwfix, which is part of the Kingfisher retail group, has opened a number of new stores and requires this new facility to supply stock to the new outlets. The company currently operates around 500 stores across the UK. Work began on the site towards the end of 2016 and is scheduled to be completed sometime in the autumn of 2017. The location near Lichfield was selected due to its proximity to the motorway network.
