Description
General Dynamics has been awarded a new 330 million GBP contract by the UK Government to develop software for its defence programme. The new contract will develop radio and information systems equipment for the armed forces and will sustain 125 current jobs as well as creating a further 125 jobs at the company's Blackwood site near Caerphiliy in South Wales. General Dynamics operates 3 sites in South Wales, with the others being at Oakdale and Merthyr Tydfill. The announcement did not indicate when the new jobs will be filled.
