Description
Finnish state owned postal company Posti Group Oyj and private human resource and service management company Solemo Oy (SOL) have co-launched a new internal logistics company called Flexo Palvelut Oy. 300 new employees will be recruited to the new company, which will work mainly with internal logistics. Outsourcing of business logistics is uncommon in Finland with only 12% of logistics operations being outsourced compared to an EU average of 40%. Posti anticipates that the Finnish logistics market will grow with up to 30% annually following increased outsourcing of business logistics. The launching of Flexo is a venture to meet upcoming demand.
