Description

Construction supply wholesaler Grafton Merchanting plans to hire 170 people across it stores by the end of 2018. Around 100 of the new jobs are expected to be filled by the end of 2017 with the remaining 70 to be filled in 2018. The business expansion is reported to be due to the continued recovery of the Irish construction industry.

The company is part of the Grafton Group and runs stores such as Chadwicks, Heiton Buckley, Sam Hire and Telfords. Grafton Merchanting already employs 1,250 people across Ireland. Since 2014, it has added 180 people to its workforce.
