European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 28 March 2017, German heating meter and billing Services Company Ista announced to create between 500 and 1,000 new jobs within the next ten years. Ista is a subsidiary of the Luxembourg investment company CVC which is expected to soon sell Ista to long-term investors.
Although there is a trend towards wireless reading of heating costs and therefore less staff will be needed, Ista is expecting to increase their staff members by 10 to 20%. This is due to the growth of about 50,000 new residential units per year.
Ista is the second biggest Provider for heating meter and billing Services in Germany and currently employs about 5,000 staff members.
