European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German exhaust systems manufacturer Eberspächer group has announced 140 new jobs at the Oradea plant (Bihor County), which was inaugurated last October. The Oradea plant produces catalysts and mufflers for European car manufacturers, such as Renault, FIAT and Jaguar Land Rover. The plan is to increase the workforce to 650 by the time the plant reaches full capacity in 2020.
According to the management the reasons for investing in Oradea is the access to well-trained and highly qualified local technicians and engineers as well as excellent logistic connections to main traffic routes to European customers.
The company announced 150 new jobs creation last year, when the Oradea plant was opened.
