European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Glasgow based Barrhead Travel, one of the largest holiday companies in Scotland, has announced plans to create 120 new jobs at its sites across Scotland and the north of England. Jobs will be based at shops in Glasgow, Edinburgh, East Kilbride and Newcastle, as well as call centre positions in Larbert, near Falkirk. The jobs are expected to be filled over the coming twelve month period and have been created due to the company's increasing customer base. When filled the company's headcount will top 1,000 across its 69 sites.
