Finnish manufacturer of forest machinery John Deere has announced plans to hire 40 new employees at its factory in Joensuu. The reason for the expansion is increased demand. In addition to John Deere's expansion, the company's subcontractors are expected to hire tens of new employees as well according to the factory manager in Joensuu.
John Deere has previously decreased its workforce, most recently the ERM reported on the reduction of 97 jobs in 2013.
