Amazon is going to open a new centre in Barcelona that will support SMEs from France, Italy and Spain that sell in the so-called marketplace. The centre will support SMEs to use the tools created to increase online sells at international levels, as well as translation services and advice on the management of foreign currency. It will be the most important support centre of the South of Europe. The company foresees to hire 500 workers in the following 3 months. The first 100 workers will start working before summer. The company has achieved to attract investment due to the fact that Spain records the most important rise in the number SMEs that sell in Amazon.
