Description
ADO Icarus, a large non-profit organisation that facilitates independent living for disabled people has announced the dismissal of 50 employees. Trade union officials state the main reason behind the dismissals are the reorganisations in the health care sector. Especially the introduction of a new financing system that has led to a drastic limitation of the available budget. It is possible more jobs will be lost in the future because of the measure. Trade unions state they will try to negotiate and reduce the amount of jobs lost with the management.
