Description
Fast food company McDonald's is to create 140 new jobs through the opening of two Topaz service stations, in counties Carlow and Cork. The Cork-based station will be open in the autumn of 2017, while the Carlow station is expected to be up and running by March 2018.
McDonald's, which employs 941 people in Ireland, is investing €2 million in the expansion project, with Topaz investing €14 million. In addition to the 140 jobs created at McDonald's, Topaz is also creating 90 new jobs, nearly half of which will be full-time, through the expansion.
