Description
US online retailer Amazon has announced it will create up to 1,000 permanent jobs at its two sites (Dobrovíz near Prague and Prague's corporate office) in the Czech Republic during 2017. The company currently employs over 3,000 people in the country. The company will recruit both unskilled and highly educated people. Amazon will provide a monetary contribution of up to CZK 120,000 (EUR 4,440) to employees for any education.
In Europe, the Amazon plans to create a total of 15,000 jobs. This is a record number of employees in one year.
