Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German producer of window and door hardware Siegenia-Aubi, a subsidiary of Siegenia group, has announced that it will increase its workforce by 14% within the next few months meaning that about 60 new jobs will be created at the unit in Kluczbork. The company is looking for production workers, engineers, planners as well as administration staff.
The plant in Kluczbork is currently being expanded as the company plans to relocate some of the production lines from Germany to Poland; the investment is worth PLN 12 million (EUR 2.77 million USD 2.95 million). Siegenia-Aubi has been operating in Poland since 1997. Currently, the company employs 420 people.
