Description
The French group Parrot plans to reorganise its activities in its drones branch for the consumer market by reducing its workforce by nearly 30%. The group plan to cut 290 positions on a total of 840 employees. Parrot aims to take on board the changes in market for consumer drones and, according to its press release, "considers that the management of its development in this segment will involve an adaptation of its offer and a cost reduction phase". "Adjusting the support teams to the level of business", is part of the restructuring plan. These reductions would concern employees both in France (150) and internationally. Parrot has most of it employees in France (628), in Switzerland (119), in China (87), Honk-Kong (22), UK (14), Germany (13) and Spain (12).
