Description
As part of its internalisation strategy, the Lactalis group, a global leader within the dairy industry, has decided to invest in a new logistics site to consolidate all of its activities in the region Rhône-Alpes. This new warehouse of more than 13,000 m² will meet the current needs and development of the group. The group will also hire a hundred employees from September 2017 to April 2018. The company will hire logistics operator, road driver, technicians and administrative employees. These new workers will be added to a team of the group's employees who will join the site as soon as it is opened. The Lactalis Group is the number one cheese manufacturer in the world, and the European leader within the milk consumption, butter and cream markets. It is also a major player in the chilled dairy and dairy ingredients categories, as well as the food service industry, and a growing player within clinical and infant nutrition markets. It employs 75,000 employees worldwide, and reached a turnover of € 16.5 billions in 2015.
