The French subsidiary of the Japanese group Sanden, has announced the recruitment of about 100 workers  on permanent employment contracts in 2017 at its site of Tinténiac (Ille et Vilaine) near Rennes. Last September, the management already announced that they were going to recruit about 100 employees over the coming months. Since then, the workforce has increased from 850 to 950 permanent employees. The site currently has 950 employees on permanent employment contracts and 250 temporary workers. Sanden announced a new investment of €25 million to create a new production line of compressor for thermic vehicles but also hybrid and electric cars. The turnover raised from €195.9 million in 2015  to €249.6 million in 2016. The site expect to increase its production of 300,000 compressors to 600,000 by 2018 for the French market but also on international markets.
