Description
AŽD Praha, a Czech producer and supplier of signalling, telecommunication, information and automation technologies, is to dismiss about 100 workers out of the 1,700 staff in 2017. The reason is that the company expects drop in sales of about CZK 4 billion (EUR 148 million). The company, which focuses on the rail and road transport, is to start new business with the aim to develop the local train without a driver.
