Description

German IT company, T-Systems Slovakia, is expanding its business and offering 300 new jobs for IT specialists in Kosice. The company opened its Business Service Centre in 2006 and in the last decade it has become the second largest centre for shared business services in the country. The company is developing fast and currently employs about 3,850 workers. According to company spokesperson Barbora Ruscin, one of the competitive advantages of being based in Kosice is that schools in the region produce a highly qualified IT workforce. Nevertheless, it is not easy to find some hundreds of IT specialists in the local labour market in a short time. Therefore, T-Systems is also trying to attract Slovak IT workers from the Czech Republic, where thousands of IT workers are Slovak nationals. Apart from a competitive salary and a relocation package of €50,000, T-Systems is offering employment benefits such as home-working, extra holiday allowance and IT training.
