German producer of frozen food FRoSTA has announced that it will increase its employment capacity by over 11% in the production facility in Bydgoszcz thus creating 80 new jobs. The company will be looking for production staff, machine operators, warehouse and service staff. The hiring programme is associated with the company’s plan to expand the production capacity in the factory by 50%. The new production hall, which is being built, is expected to be operational in May 2017. The company plans to invest PLN 65 million (EUR 16.63 million USD 15.55 million) in the project.

FRoSTA is one of the largest producers of frozen food in Europe. The company has four factories (three in Germany and one in Bydgoszcz, Poland). In Poland, FRoSTA has been operating since 1999; the factory in Bydgoszcz produces mostly fish products as well as ready meals and vegetable products for the eastern and middle European market. Currently, the company employs 700 workers in the factory in Poland.
