Description

Maryland Healthcare Trust will create 140 new jobs when its centre opens just outside Belfast in June 2017. The GBP 8.4 million (€10.02 million) facility, which is being supported by Ulster Bank, will provide accommodation for up to 80 residents who require care due to dementia or for physical or learning disabilities. Roles available will be both full-time and part-time covering such areas as nursing, administration, food preparation and other auxiliary roles. The centre is due to open in June 2017. As well as the jobs which will be created when the centre is operational, there will also be work for around 100 construction workers during the building phase.
