ALC – Bulgaria, the local subsidiary of Canadian company ALC, plans to create up to 250 new jobs in a new factory in Blagoevgrad by the end of April 2017. This will be the third ALC factory in the country and it will produce trim components for Volkswagen. The first factory was established in 2011 in Musachevo and employs some 1,000 people while the second was established in 2013 in Ihtiman and has about 600 employees.
Established in 1994, the company manufactures seat covers, trim inserts, steering wheel covers as well as gear and hand brake grips and bellows.
