Food manufacturer Bakkavor is to create 310 jobs across its operations in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The company which manufactures a range of food products including desserts and ready meals for major supermarket clients will add 100 positions to its desserts manufacturing site in Newark, 60 jobs at its Freshcook site in Spalding and 150 jobs at its pizza production facility in Holbeach. Management positions and production operative roles will be available. The timescale for filling the jobs is not known, though the recruitment process is underway. Bakkavor added a number of roles to its sites earlier in 2016, and demand for its products is currently high.
