Description
Kitchen and bathroom retailer Betta Living is making 300 staff redundant. A deal has been struck with administrators to sell the company's order book and to honour existing orders, though this will result in the closure of 24 shops and the loss of 300 jobs. A spokesperson for the administrators said that the forthcoming priority would be helping those who have been made redundant claim from the Redundancy Protection Service - the government service which provides payments when employers become insolvent.
